is it JUST me?
I always bite my lower lip uneasily when I catch someone looking at my direction.
Subconsciously I assume there is something wrong with me.
Then it goes,
’check zip on skirt’
’check button on blouse’
’lightly touch hair’
’pray that no food is stuck between teeth’
I’ll tense up, and debate with myself what to do.
Pretend that ‘I don’t give a damn’?
Ask ‘What’s your problem?’ in my bitchy tone?
Put up dulan face?
I never succeed in acting normal.
Then, among all that queer feeling, the person stands up and walk away.
And I’ll go ‘ceeeeeeeh!’
Because I know that she has never been eyeing me at all.
Fuh, then I wonder when I stare blankly at the desk, do I make the girl behind the desk feel like I am staring at her as well (:
So tell me, is it just me? Or do you sometimes think that others are looking at you, when the person is merely staring at something else?
*** ***
Of course sometimes, people really are staring at you.
Like today, he finally asked me “Are you Chinese?””
”Yeah,” I replied.
”You look mixed,” he explained.
”Oh really? Like what?” I asked.
”Chinese, and French,” he replied
Haha, this is first.
I mean the being partly French part. Not the being mixed part.
So, Je te vois demain. Which in case you don’t know, means see you tomorrow!
