Forkes

Hi, it is 18 degree Celsius today, and I’m in the mood for a weather report.

My hands have been cold and hard for the whole morning, and though I know it is disgusting, I am really considering not washing my hands after using the bathroom (my school does not provide warm air hand drying machines mind you)

Anyway, as mentioned in the past few days, the sun rises at 6 in the morning (sometimes it doesn’t even show its face, like today for example) and sets at 5 in the evening. Days are gloomy and grey, the air, cold and humid. Oh, and the wind? Merciless, rapes my hair like no one’s business.

The laundry I washed 2 days ago is still wet. My damp hair is always hanging limply on (and sometimes stuck to) my face. People huddle together and scurry away to warm indoors. I clench my jaw and fists so much, but it’s cold and I’m numb, so I don’t feel much. Any other day of the week, there’s a typhoon. Plans are either postponed or cancelled. Like my BBQ date and our supposing field trip to Yi Lan.

The pavements are wet all the time, people are extremely careful not to step on puddles or getting the edges of their jeans wet. Because, god knows how terrible the feeling of wet clothes on a cold day is. Hmmm, my room is really warm, but the down side is, during this kind of weather, all kinds of insects, snakes, and little reptiles are dying to find a place like mine to curl up and dwell. Which means, I am having nightmares of insect attacks, particularly Centipedes, because that’s what happens most here.

Anyway, I got to go hibernate, because I’m having my third History quiz later in the afternoon, and I really honestly desperately want a perfect score :D
