Sweet Sweet Songs

Remember the Mixtape Swap that Julia and I hosted during May?

Well, just now while back from Aunt Jackie’s house party, mum and I went to check the mail and OMG my first mixtape is here!

This wonderful Mixtape entitled ‘Sweet Sweet Songs’ is from Camila of Brazil. Hello! *waves*
Pictures!

  • With trembling trembling hands. I was in the lift and I was this close to ripping it open like a madwoman if it wasn’t for other passengers staring at me weirdly. Cause my eyes had this strongly oppressed look like someone holding in too much pee.IMG_5684
  • The front cover, ‘Sweet Sweet Songs’. Oh macaroons, sweet alright! (;

  • Interior. Look at this, isn’t it absolutely beautiful?

  • She also put in effort for the back of the cover. Aww.

  • The whole package, including Bubblegum from Brazil. HAHAHA, how cool is that? I get bubblegum all the way from Brazil. Foreign, yummy and tax free, lol. This is really sweet, I think the Mixtape really live up to the title of ‘Sweet Sweet Songs’

I quickly opened it when I got home and played it.

Some songs are from artists that I know, like Coconut Records, Death Cab For Cutie, Kings of Leon, Scarlett Johansson and Pomplamoose. But I have not heard any of the songs from the mixtape, which is great.

Ths mixtape consist of mostly Indie and Jazz, which is my absolute favourite. There are also some foreign songs, which I assume is Portugese. The playlist is so soothing, and relaxing, but with an edge of rock somewhere in between. The kind of playlist that is great to blast in your car when you’re on a roadtrip or in your stereo when you’re having a relaxing evening at home.

I think, for the time being, Nouvelle Vague – Blue Monday is my most liked.

All in all, I LOVE IT. Thank you Camila!
