Amelie

I first fell in love with a song called Anna, by Gunnar Madsen. That song brought me to The original soundtrack of a French movie, Amelie, which music was created by the very talented Yann Tiersen. I loved each and every piece of music from the soundtrack. And vowed that I would watch the movie one day.

Anyway, that one day was today in my school library. And, I was just blown away. It’s just so wonderful, and whimsical and beautifully executed (: I really like how this movie celebrates life, the magic in the small things we do in everyday life. In fact, I was feeling pretty down before I watched it and now I feel so much better. Like there’s something enchanting within my grasp.

Take sometime to watch this video which is the first part of the movie. Oh, and there’s English subtitles cause it’s originally French. If you’re enthralled by the movie like I am, just click and continue watching lah, YouTube has the full movie :D Okaaay, now go click and let the movie convince you itself.
