I was at the park this morning.
There were trees, many different trees with different wood, different leaves and different colours. Which was very comforting to be with. There were blossoming flowers, vibrant and lively. Which was very nice to look at. There were a lot of interesting sounds that I can’t mimic, from birds and insects all kinds, which took away the regret of not bringing earphones. There was a large lake I passed by, and it reflected the whole of the sky I liked, very blue with bright clouds like cotton. The water was very still, and I saw some dragonflies. The air was damp and very sweet smelling, every breath was chilling when it went in. The corners of my mouth twitched during the first step, I was smiling later, for the entire walk.
I think these morning walks in the park is going to do more good than just my knee. Because I was in such high spirits later and ate a bigger breakfast than usual. Today is the best day I’ve had upon arriving.
Being surrounded by nature is inspiring and humbling! And tomorrow, we’re going to venture into the woods if it does not rain tonight. How exciting.

ReplyDeleteI love the park. I'm even thinking of starting a plant specimen collection. It'll be fun but I'm not sure I have the patience :O
