Alright

Hello.

I just came home after seeing daddy switch to a normal ward from ICU after the 48 critical hours that safely passed. Also, he had an operation that startled me with the sight of all that blood. But then, amazed by the advancement of technology, I’ve never seen a heart like that before!

Needless to say, everyone from the family is relieved but exhausted from both the deprivation of sleep and the emotional trauma. For the past few days I felt like a rubber band, a string stretched much too tight that could snap and break any moment; although I kept a positive outlook. Among all that stress, I still continued my physiotherapy sessions and all the hard core work-outs. The last thing I need is a muscle/nerve/joint/knee problem when my departure date is on a countdown of 15.

Anyway the doctor says that daddy can no longer smoke. Which is going to be hard for a heavy smoker of 30 years. And there’s also his cholesterol problem we have to deal with. But we’re all being very optimistic.
