I went to the Alumni Association of Taiwan Universities, Malaysia today to get my admission letter.
National Taiwan Normal University is just like any other University you know. Quite similar to the local colleges like Taylors, Help, the only difference being it’s a University. I got into their preparatory program which is a Pre-U program, similar to the Pre-U programs offered locally like A levels, SAM, SAT or so.
This preparatory program starts fall semester 2010 (September 2010) and ends at the last of spring semester 2011 (June 2011), a whooping 9 months including winter break. I will be doing 6 subjects (Mandarin, English, Math, History, Geography and Taiwan Sivic) excluding PE classes and extra subjects like Arts and Music. I’ll use the results from my final exams held May/June 2011 to apply Taiwan Universities. If everything goes according to plan, I’ll start my first year at University in Taiwan September 2011, doing my degree in either Language or History (I hope!)
This is what my soon to be school looks like.
The school’s a boarding school. So think eating, sleeping, studying and seeing your classmates every waking moment of the day. I really don’t want to elaborate on the school, I rather talk about it when I’m there (:
So, this is when I’m leaving,
2nd of September 2010, Thursday, from KLIA.
I’ll be packing my bags and moving back to Seremban from August onwards, to spend a good 1 month with my relatives and loves. Considering its July now, that leaves me a solid 4 more weeks at this big hustle bustle of Kuala Lumpur/Petaling Jaya. I’ve never been out of town/city for such a long period, it’s weird. But I’m excited about doing something different, something out of my comfort zone (:
I’ve got loads of stuff to do now. There’s a trip back to Penang to visit relatives/medical check-up/PVNS report from doctor, there’s a small trip back to Seremban to get my passport/identification card/visas/i have no idea what but they are related documents done, a lot of bank account/shopping/packing/phone registration and little what-nots to settle. And heck I have a big schedule for physio because it’s a critical moment and Miss Thanh is all about ‘you’ve got to build your muscles Ninoo…’
Fuuuh, okays okays, my head is hurting from all that cramming of to-dos so, Adios Amigos!
Thank you so much for visiting my blog Briana. And I love the comment. So lovely.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a great time in Seremban when you go. All my love.
Have a great Sunday!
