I’ve made some big changes lately.
Everyone has their own principles and beliefs. Some people believe in God, some people in The universe, some in Buddha some in karma some in instinct some in conscience. These things are all good. They make us what we are.
Being, doing, acting, or behaving in the opposite direction of your beliefs is called hypocrisy.
Hypocrisy sounds like a small thing yes, sometimes when accused of being a hypocrite, people just say ‘screw it’ and move on, thinking that the worst thing that can happen is just what ‘other people’ can say. But hypocrisy shouldn’t be taken lightly because it creates doubt.
You believe in one thing but behave another, sooner or later you begin to question yourself.
You doubt your own self, because you doubt your value system/beliefs that makes you, you.
There’s a saying, ‘you can follow the crowd but you might get lost in it’
You lose yourself when you don’t act according to your beliefs.
How can you tell me who you are, when you are one thing but yet another thing as well.
Hypocrites do not have an identity.
I’m glad I took some time to review on who I am and what I want.
I do not want to tell lies.
I do not want to pretend.
I do not want to be misleading.
I do not want to give other people false hope.
I do not want to have good intentions but do wrong things.
I want to have good intentions and do the right things.
I don’t want to be a person who knows what is right, yet do the opposite and complain about the situation much later. If I know what I’m supposed to do and what is best for me, might as well act accordingly.
My friend, if you know the truth, why would you tell lies?
Because I really don’t need anyone.
Thank you very much.
